Your gift today brings a new kind of affordable housing to the Twin Cities. The activities and funding needed to support that effort are listed below:

Fund an Envision Leader: $16,000

Funding will support Envision Leaders – all of whom have lived experience of homelessness. They are involved in all aspects of predevelopment and are the key decision-makers at Envision.

Capital Campaign Goal: $4.5 Million

This goal is based on a 24-unit development. The exact number of units that we build cannot be finalized at this time. The zoning ordinance that allows for Envision’s new type of housing specifies a minimum area of 325 square feet per bed in some residential districts while other districts require 650 square feet per bed. This means that the number of units we build is determined by the size of the land, the residential district where the land is located, and available funding.

Neighborhood Engagement

Once we have a site, we will know which neighbors, businesses, churches, officials, and more to engage as we build relationships and communicate our vision. How our residents will live together on-site is only part of the equation. Equally important is how the group integrates with the surrounding community.
